Malang, 20 October 2023. The UMM Government Science Study Program held internal training regarding strategies for writing proposals for the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM), especially for students from the class of 2022. This training activity aims to facilitate and guide students in preparing PKM proposals. Acting as a speaker and facilitator, namely Mrs. Umi Kulsum, S.IP., M.IP as a lecturer in the UMM Government Science Study Program.
PKM proposal writing training activities will continue to be ongoing and will be monitored regularly. This is a form of strategy so that students can qualify and obtain funding in the 2024 PKM competition. During the training, the presenters said that the preparation of proposals must be novel and have the urgency of discussions that are interesting, but still relevant.
"If you take a PKM writing scheme in the form of research such as Social Humanities Research (RSH), you must ensure that the research is new, and you must have certainty that the research taken is capable of being completed. "Because good research is one that can be completed," explained the speaker.
Apart from that, Mrs. Umi Kulsum as the speaker also emphasized in the training that writing a PKM proposal must be clear and have a coherent writing flow.
"So, in writing it must be coherent so that the purpose of the research can be clearly understood. Don't jump here and there, in other words it continues to expand and there is no continuity. "This must be considered carefully," said the speaker. (van/roz)
