Government Studies Lecturer Participates in Science Camp by AIPPTM

Malang, January 9 2023. In improving lecturer skills in writing grant research proposals and scientific articles nationally and internationally, three lecturers, namely Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Si., Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., M.A., and Ach. Apriyanto Romadhan participated in the Science Camp activity organized by AIPPTM (Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Studies Association). This activity in collaboration with the Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang Administration Study Program, was held at the Narita Hotel Tangerang. This workshop-type activity is divided into two material sessions: writing research grant proposals and writing national and international scientific articles.

The agenda, which was held from Wednesday (4/1) to Thursday (5/1) at the Narita Hotel Tangerang, was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT), Dr. H Achmad Kosasih, MM, in his remarks expressed his gratitude to AIPPTM for entrusting UMT as the host for this year's Science Camp. "Thank you to all AIPPTM staff because UMT had the opportunity to be the host," he said. This is a form of honour for FISIP UMT, which is still relatively young but has been involved in its contribution to the AIPPTM 2023 Science Camp.

One of the speakers came from UMY (Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta), namely Prof. Eko Priyo Purnomo, PhD national reviewer and several reputable international journals, explaining how to find good novelty or research gaps. Besides that, Prof. Eko provides tips and tricks so that our proposals pass and are funded by donor institutions. On another occasion, Muhammad Kamil, the Head of the Government Studies Study Program who participated, said that "this skill upgrade is needed to increase the contribution of lecturers in the world of academia and science", he concluded.
