Thursday, May 16, 2024 – The Department of Public Administration at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality learning experiences for students by bringing in a guest instructor from the Department of Development Economics, Mrs. Fitri Rusdianasari, S.E., M.Si. She was the speaker for the Center of Excellence Professional Class on Government and Politics Analysis. The topic she discussed was "Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Use of the Expert Choice Application."
In her presentation, Mrs. Fitri explained in detail how Expert Choice can be used as an effective tool for policy analysis and testing. "The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a very useful method for helping decision-makers determine priorities and make the best choices among various policy alternatives. By using the Expert Choice application, this process becomes more structured and measurable," she explained.
The students were highly enthusiastic about attending this class. They gained new insights into the practical steps of using Expert Choice, starting from data collection, hierarchy creation, to processing and analyzing results. The material shared by Mrs. Fitri provided a fresh perspective on decision-making processes, and the students found it to be a rewarding experience as they were able to practice directly using the Expert Choice application.
With this material, it is hoped that Public Administration students will gain deeper and more applicable knowledge in policy analysis in the field. The Head of the Department of Public Administration, Mr. Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., M.A., hopes that collaborations like this will continue to strengthen, producing competent and high-quality Public Administration graduates.
