With the increasing demand for institutions to establish partnerships with foreign universities, the Government Studies Program (Prodi-IP) is also preparing to initiate international collaborations. This initiative is aimed at providing opportunities for students and graduates of the program to engage with the international community.
Hevi Kurnia Hardini, MA.Gov., a lecturer at the Government Studies Program, said, "Some of the preparations we have designed include: preparing students working on their final thesis to present their results at seminars in several universities in Malaysia and Singapore, preparing International Classes, which will use English as the medium of instruction, and initiating partnerships with universities in Australia," said the alumni of Flinders University, Australia.
Several collaboration plans are currently being initiated by Prodi-IP, and the program hopes for the support of all the academic community of Political Science, particularly in terms of proficiency in both passive and active English skills. Therefore, Prodi-IP strongly encourages all students to start preparing themselves for the era of international cooperation, he added.
