IP UMM shows its seriousness in implementing the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM). As a study program with an excellent accreditation status, IP UMM Study Program is increasingly aggressive in building cooperation with related stakeholders. The latest exploration of cooperation was carried out with the Bojonegoro Regency Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Agency (DP3AKB), Monday, January 31, 2021. In principle, the process of discussing cooperation through Zoom has reached a common ground to be agreed upon. Furthermore, the finalization is being set forth in a Cooperation Agreement (SPK) which both parties will sign in the near future.

This effort continues to be made by the IP UMM study program to build a network of cooperation packaged in the form of an MBKM Internship. In general, this kind of cooperation improves the quality of study programs and academic reputation. Besides that, it can also be a means of promotion and contribute directly to solving public problems and, most importantly, helping develop student competencies. This collaboration will be in internships/work practices that are part of MBKM.

Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., MA, as the Head of UMM IP Study Program, happily and enthusiastically welcomed this collaboration. "Alhamdulillah, we are grateful for the positive response and willingness of DP3AKB to cooperate with IP. The implementation of MBKM, one of which is Internship/work practice, is expected to run smoothly in the DPK3AKB service. UMM IP students can study within 1-2 semesters to learn a lot about the problems of women and children in Bojonegoro Regency, which is also a serious concern for the government. With a long time and a serious learning process, it is hoped that students can solve the problems of women and children in Bojonegoro Regency either by being directly involved in the empowerment process, for example, or by providing suggestions and recommendations. "Hopefully, this collaboration can be developed in other fields in the future," said Kamil.

The DP3AKB of Bojonegoro Regency also showed the same response. Heru Sugiharto, SE, MM, as the Head of the Bojonegoro Regency DP3AKB Service, welcomed this collaboration plan openly. "Essentially, we agreed to carry out this collaboration; all that remains is to make an SPK so that it is stronger, binding, and clear. IP UMM students can learn a lot about the conventional protection of women in terms of violence and harassment and protection through economic empowerment to produce productive women. "We are ready to guide and direct IP students in internship activities so that they can better understand the real world of government bureaucracy," concluded Heru.
