Malang, July 13, 2024—The Government Studies Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) held the event for the release and reception of Government Research Internship & COE students, which took place at the Randugede tourist area, Plaosan District.

A total of 50 students will participate in the Government Research Internship & COE program in Magetan Regency, distributed across three subdistricts: Poncol, Plaosan, and Panekan. Local government officials were also present at the event.

In his speech, the Head of the Government Studies Program, Mr. Kamil S.IP., M.A, stated, “This agenda is an MBKM internship initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture, lasting for four months. In our Government Studies Program, we call it the Government Research Internship & COE Excellence Class.”

“Students, please prepare any necessary medicines as Poncol, Plaosan, and Panekan districts are entering the cold season, or ‘bediding,’ to stay healthy and enthusiastic,” said the Head of Randugede Village, Mr. Kunzani Widaya, S.Pt.

The Head of Panekan Subdistrict, Mr. Yanu Hari Wibowo, S.STP, expressed his hope, “I hope that this internship program can assist the village government in making improvements, especially in drafting the RPJMD (Medium-Term Development Plan) and RKPDES (Village Development Plan).”

The students also expressed their hope that the Government Research Internship & COE program would make a tangible contribution to the community, particularly to the village government.
