Malang, April 27, 2020. The UMM Government Science Study Program held another online Millenial Talk series 2 discussions with the theme "The Dynamics of Handling Covid-19 in the Democratization Era. This online discussion presented two presenters, namely Rizky Judha and Pudji Susiolo Asih, and was moderated by Andi Putri Dewi Hamidah. All three are students of Government Science UMM class 2018. The discussion was started by the first resource person, namely Rizky Juda. He explained about the beginning of the occurrence of covid 19 in the world until it reached Indonesia. He also explained the policies made by the central Government and local governments in handling covid 19. Then he argues that the Government is less organized in making policies because many procedures are out of sync and overlap, which causes people to be confused in implementing these policies.

Furthermore, the second resource person, Puji Susilo Asih, provided insight regarding assumptions and conspiracy theories circulating in the community. The existence of conspiracy theories incredibly colored the dynamics of handling COVID-19. Nevertheless, in Covid-19, both in Indonesia and the world, the discussion was conducive, and the moderator concluded that people or groups have the right to express their opinions in this era of democratization. This condition also has an impact on the spread of information about COVID-19, as well as having an impact on diverse understandings in society.
