Malang, 11 October 2023. The Government Science Study Program held a workshop on preparing international standard modules or course descriptions. This activity presented Prof. Nurul Barizah, LLM., Ph.D and Dr. Rina Wahyuni Setyaningrum, M.Ed as resource person.
This workshop activity was carried out as a form of preparation for the Government Science study program to carry out international accreditation. Then, several other study programs including International Relations, Sociology, and Social Welfare were also present at the workshop for preparing the module of this course.
In this workshop activity, Dr. Rina Wahyuni Setyaningrum, M.Ed emphasized several things related to the preparation of international standard modules. "The module of course must be provided by each study program, there are several documents that must be adapted to the format provided by FIBAA if you want to carry out international accreditation." "The presence of foreign students in each study program can be an added value in the accreditation assessment," said the source.
Prof. Nurul Barizah, LLM., P.hD added that "several aspects assessed in international accreditation include the vision and mission of the study program, objectives, curriculum, learning process, facilities, human resources, research, community service, collaboration, graduates and social impact”. "This module of course is a parameter in carrying out teaching and learning activities in accordance with international standards so that it is able to clearly describe the objectives to be achieved," concluded the resource person.
In assisting in the preparation of modules and course descriptions, it is hoped that each study program can prepare its modules well so that the results obtained will be satisfactory.
