The contribution of one's thoughts to the public interest should continue to be disseminated even though the figure has passed away. This spirit inspired the UMM Malang Government Science Study Program in collaboration with the UMM Malang Government Science Laboratory, Smart Reading House (RBC), and Intrans Publishing to hold a Book Launching Web Binar and a discussion entitled Spatial Policy, Wednesday, September 01, 2021. This book is a reflection critical of the late Dr. Jainuri, M.Si as a Lecturer of Governmental Sciences at UMM Malang and Muhammadiyah activist regarding the evaluation of the management of the Brantas Stream Area in Malang City, which has problems due to urban planning policies that are not integrated.
This activity began with remarks and testimonies from the deceased's colleagues. Dr. Riniekso Kartono, M.Si as the Dean of FISIP UMM, Malang, really appreciated the dedication and sincerity of Cak Jen, his nickname for the interests of the institution, especially FISIP UMM. Prof. Hajriyanto Y Thohari, who currently serves as the Indonesian LBBP Ambassador to Lebanon in Beirut, said that Muhammadiyah was lucky to have cadres with integrity and high enthusiasm for learning even though they were sick. Characters like this need to be emulated so that every Muhammadiyah cadre devotes himself to the public interest as the deceased did through a book edited by Dr. Salahudin, S.IP, M.Si, M.PA. Through a video testimonial that summarizes the deep impression about Cak Zen from Dr. Abdul Mukhti ( PP Muhammadiyah) Dr. Nazarudin Malik, M.SI (Vice-Rector II UMM Malang), Prof. Achmad Nurmandi, M.Si (Diktilitbang PP Muhammadiyah), and many other figures concluded that Cak Zen was a humanist intellectual who dedicated himself to the interests of the association and the development of science. A book done in a situation of limited health shows that Cak Zen really has extraordinary enthusiasm and consistency.
