Malang, 22 September 2023. The UMM Government Science Study Program always facilitates its students to gain as much knowledge and practical experience as possible. One of them is by providing opportunities for students to do internships in various regions, including in Eastern Indonesia, namely in Maluku Province.
One of the students who is currently doing an internship and research in Maluku Province is Ramla A. Rumbalifar from the Class of 2020. She is carrying out internship activities, more precisely at the DPRD of East Seram Regency.
While the internship was taking place, he received a job description to help with various jobs at Commission B (Finance). Specifically, he is involved in various major agendas, including; Recess preparation, implementation of recess, preparation of recess reports and preparation of APBD.
"During my internship, I was able to learn directly about the dynamics of work in the East Seram Regency DPRD, both when attending commission hearings and plenary sessions. "Apart from that, I was also involved in the Recess process and the preparation of the APBD," said Ramla.
This is certainly a very valuable practical experience for UMM Government Science Study Program students. Students gain a lot of practical learning during the internship and it certainly becomes a challenge that has its own impression.
"The internship at the East Seram Regency DPRD was very impressive for me, because here I was taught specifically regarding technical matters and how the processes are carried out in formulating policies. Apart from that, I was also impressed because I was interning in an area that adheres to the principles of brotherhood, so it really feels like family." he concluded. (van/roz)
