Monday, August 04, 2020, is the Socialization of Candidates in the Election of Regent and Deputy Regent of Sidoarjo 2020. In this activity, an IP student named Panji Arya Wiguna participated in the activity. Panji, as he is familiarly called, is currently participating in a research internship at the KPU Sidoarjo Regency. This activity was held at the Aston Hotel, located in the Kahuripan Nirwana Housing Estate, Sidoarjo Regency. This activity was attended by the TNI, Polres, Sidoarjo Regency Regional Agencies, PLT Regent for 2014-2019, IDI (Indonesian Doctors Association) Sidoarjo Regency, Sidoarjo Regency BNN, HIPSI, chairman of the Sidoarjo Regency DPRD, Bawaslu, and 16 political parties throughout the Regency. This activity was held to convey the stages of the nominations in the 2020 Sidoarjo Regent and Deputy Regent elections. Ms. Miftah as a representative of the Sidoarjo Regency KPU employee, explained and socialized the stages in the nomination for the 2020 Sidoarjo Regent and Deputy Regent elections. For example, this stage starts on August 28 to September 03, 2020, with the announcement of candidate registration, and ends on September 24, 2020, by lottery and information of serial numbers. Therefore, this socialization activity is essential and mandatory for all (from the TNI to 16 political parties throughout Sidarjo Regency).
