The happy news came from the Government Science Study Program, FISIP UMM. A total of 10 student scientific papers have been published in several journals in Thailand, indexed Tier 2 by TCI (Thai-Journal Citation Index Center). It should be noted that TCI is an indexing institution for scientific works that determines the quality of publications produced by a journal. TCI is like SINTA in Indonesia, and only TCI is more 'senior'. The ten students who passed the Tier 2 journal are students who took part in the Student Exchange Program at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. This is a manifestation of the efforts to internationalize the IP study program, which was started in 2016.

Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., M, A expressed his pride and full appreciation for what the ten students had achieved. It should also be noted that the ten students were part of the student exchange program between IP UMM and COLA, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. One of the students named Riko explained that the writing process took a long time, starting from the guidance process by IP UMM lecturers with COLA lecturers, then the submitting, revising, and publishing stages

Kamil also explained that apart from international journals, at the same time, IP students managed to publish articles in national journals, and maybe in the future, there will be more articles from IP students who have succeeded in publishing in several journals. He added that the IP study program always provides motivation and encouragement in ideas to all students to continue to drive the literacy movement, especially writing scientific articles.
