Exchange IP Students in Thailand Conduct Fundraising for Jabodetabek Flood Victims

Thailand January 10, 2020 - Floods that hit Jabodetabek a few weeks ago left grief and loss for the victims. To help ease the burden on the victims, some Government Science students who are currently studying exchange at the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, Thailand, took solidarity action. The fundraising organized by PERMITHA (Indonesian Student Association in Thailand) was also attended by several active students from the Master Degree program. The fundraising was carried out with student music performances in the campus night market area, held at two points, namely at the Golden Jubilee Night Market and at the Taladmo night market on Friday night, January 10, 2020. In addition, massive information dissemination was also carried out regarding the situation. the actual victims & location of the flood to the campus academic community. The solidarity period will be held from 5-10 January 2020. This solidarity action is expected to gain empathy from the local community to help with humanitarian issues in the international world, especially at the regional level. Funds raised will be distributed directly to flood victims.
