Government Science Laboratory as its vision, namely, making the Government Science Laboratory a center for political and government information to strengthen local government. The workshop held at University Inn (11/12) was attended by lecturers of the Government Science Study Program.
The workshop was officially opened by the Vice Dean I of FISIP, Drs. Asep Nurjaman M.Si. He said that the reorientation of the function of the Government Science Laboratory is not only seen from the results but also through the processes carried out to achieve the ideals of the Laboratory and this will not happen without complete coordination and synergy in this system, he hoped.
The IP Laboratory was established in 1996 as a forum for students to expand their studies as well as provide practical insights into government administration, especially local government so as to provide added value (value added) for Government Science students. Looking at its very strategic function, the development of the government science laboratory is the main focus in sharpening field skills (technical skills) for students.
According to Dr. Trisulistyaningsih M.Si, chairman of PRODIP, the laboratory is the spirit of the department in developing normative science or normative learning in the classroom into field practice that will introduce students to the theories obtained in class with events in society.
