The excellent and proud news was again achieved by the big family of Government Science (IP) UMM Malang. The Local of Government Issues (LOGOS) journal won the SINTA 2 National accreditation title. The validity period of this decree is from Volume 3 number 2 of 2020 to volume 3 number 1 of 2025. This status confirms the reputation of LOGOS as one of the best scientific journals in Indonesia.
Of course, the UMM IP study program and LOGOS management team are very grateful. This achievement is the fruit of hard work, sincere work together, and through a long process to become one of the most beautiful gifts at the end of 2021. Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Si, conveyed this expression as Editor in Chief of LOGOS. "Since it was first published in March 2018, one of our targets has been to achieve the SINTA 2 rating. The ranking of the SINTA 2 journal shows evidence that the management of LOGOS has excellent standards. Therefore, the performance of LOGOS is considered very satisfactory from the aspect of quality management and the substance of a strict and contributive journal. These two things become assessment indicators in determining the accreditation rating by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology. Alhamdulillah, this is thanks to the cooperation of the entire management team and also thanks to the direct support from Study Programs and Universities through the LPPI who tirelessly continue to strive to develop the quality of LOGOS, "said Tri.

In the future, LOGOS development will continue to be carried out. Dr. Salahudin, S.IP., M.Si., M.PA as the Handling Editor conveyed the LOGOS development plan in the future, which requires comprehensive preparation. "First of all, we are very grateful to Allah SWT for this success and express our deepest gratitude to those who have helped. However, we are aware that there are still many things that need to be improved in the management of LOGOS. Even though it has achieved a SINTA 2 rating, LOGOS needs to make some improvements from the review notes we got. We will immediately follow up on this input to realize LOGOS' dream to go international. Our next biggest hope is that LOGOS can be indexed by high international reputable journals so that the quality of LOGOS must continue to be maintained and improved. The internationalization step will gradually begin by indexing LOGOS to the Emerging Resources Index (ESCI) so that it can be entered into the Web of Sciences (WoS) database and then to Scopus. We know that being indexed by WoS and Scopus is very difficult and requires a long process. Still, we are confident that with the cooperation of the entire team, god willing, this target can be achieved,” concluded Salahudin.
