Thursday, 1/03/18, IP Study Program held a Guest Lecture with the topic “Smart City As A Concept For Sustainable Development”. The guest lecture held at GKB III, Engineering Hall presented Thai Smart City Expert, Narin Jaroensabphayanont, Ph.D, Vice Dean of College of Local Administration (COLA), Khon Kaen University, Thailand. IP Study Program students in semesters VI and IV were so enthusiastic about listening and absorbing the knowledge conveyed by Dr. Narin. IP Study Program students gain additional knowledge through a comparative study of Smart City implementation in Khon Kaen city, Thailand, and the implementation of Smart City that runs in Indonesia. On this occasion, cooperation (MoU) was also carried out between the College of Local Administration (COLA) Khon Kaen University and the Government Science Study Program, FISIP-UMM, including the Student Exchange Program, Joint Research and Sit In. Of course, this program further confirms that the IP Study Program is ready to become a superior study program that is competitive, and has an international outlook.
