The happy and proud news was again felt by the entire family of the UMM IP Study Program in 2022. In the 2022 FISIP UMM Dean Cup Futsal Championship, held on 5-7 June, the IP Men's Futsal Team won 1st place. In the Final, which took place at Champion Futsal, IP Study Program beat Social Welfare Study Program with a score of 4-3.
Players and Study Programs are very grateful for this achievement. Yulianhadi Satria as the captain, said that this victory was through a long process, not instant, hard work and high solidarity. "We are very serious in preparing for this tournament by routinely practicing twice a week and preparing mentally," said Satria. He added that all the victories against Sociology (2-1), International Relations (2-1), and the Final against Social Welfare (4-3) were also the fruit of the cohesiveness of all players. "We are very excited to participate in this tournament because it brings big names into the study program, our motivation is multiplied so that we can bring out the maximum ability," added Satria.
In the future, this team will continue to be maintained. This optimism was conveyed by one of the players, Ramadhenta. "This team must continue to be developed because quality players inhabit it, we plan to participate in other tournaments," said Ramadhenta. This is also supported by the study program, which pays attention to students to excel in sports. "The strong support of the study program in terms of material and non-material makes us more developed and confident that we can continue to excel," concluded Ramadhenta.
The IP Study Program also conveyed great appreciation. Achmad Apriyanto Romadhan S.IP., MA, as secretary of UMM IP Study Program as well as coach of student extracurricular activities. "Their achievements are extraordinary, even though yesterday they just finished the tiring LKP activity but still managed to win," said Achmad. Achmad sees this because of the mindset to win that has been embedded in their minds. "This also shows that IP students can achieve non-academic achievements. IP Study Program will always support students with any activities as long as they aim to develop themselves," concluded Achmad.
