The Student Association of the Government Science Study Program (HIMAP) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Malang for the 2024/2025 period held the 2024 Class of Government Leadership Training (LKP) with the theme "Building Leadership with Integrity in the Era of Digital Transformation: Emphasizing Collaboration and Respecting Diversity".
This activity took place at the Dodikjur Rindam V Brawijaya Malang which lasted for three days on January 17-19, 2025 with a total of 71 participants from the entire 2024 class and some of the 2023 class who participated in the LKP activity as a follow-up.
"Love for the homeland and defending the country is important for our nation and country today, this dense material is expected to be useful for participants' provisions to be implemented in the nation and country. It is hoped that all participants will take the event seriously, create an active and interactive atmosphere, make the best use of their time to get to know each other and increase their insight," said Captain INF Agus. S as the activity trainer.
LKP activity is a mandatory program that must be followed by government science students which will later become a requirement for the thesis defense at the end of the study period. This activity was carried out through a collaboration between HIMAP UMM and the Government Science Study Program and Laboratory.
In this LKP activity, participants were given supplies in the form of materials and practices on leadership, public speaking, discipline, self-identification, and others. "The hope is that with this program, students can at least be able to lead themselves and manage their time and the most important thing is how students can become students with integrity, resilience and tolerance.", Said Mr. Muhammad Kamil S.IP., MA Head of the Government Science Study Program.
Aldi Kusuma, General Chairperson of the Government Science Study Program Student Association added his hope that with this LKP, what you get from the first day to the last can be implemented until you graduate from university and don't leave this rindam without getting anything because what you plant today will be reaped someday.
