Malang, August 26, 2020. The Association of Indonesian Government Science Lecturers held a seminar series 1, "Reinterpreting Scope and Subject Matters of Government Science". This online seminar results from a collaboration between AIPPTM (Association of Muhammadiyah Higher Education Government Sciences) with several universities from Padjajaran University, Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University, Riau Islamic University, Lampung University, and the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. There were four speakers, a lecturer in Governmental Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Sc. As she is familiarly called, Bu Tri describes Reinterpreting the Science of Government.

In her presentation, Mrs. Tri reaffirmed the position of government science in the life of the nation and state and the prospects of government science. He said that government science discusses a lot of material studies but not functional objects. This means that the science of governance is more focused on governance and becomes an umbrella for community problems. Therefore, the role of government science in responding to community problems will be fundamental and subject. So that future government science will always be relevant and move dynamically according to the dynamics of society.
