Pers IP is a discussion forum created to support the academic abilities of Government Science students in terms of writing and insight. In the first discussion on November 9 yesterday, Pers IP raised the topic of rejecting the coal mine that will operate in the Meratus mountains. This discussion was also attended by 3 semester classes in Government Science in room 611 GKB 1 UMM.
At the beginning of the discussion, the presenter discussed his writing that was published on lintas.org "Yes, the text we are discussing is an opinion that I wrote in response to the dangers of the Meratus conflict, and thank God it was published by lintas.org" said the presenter when starting the discussion. The presenter also began the discussion by reviewing the philosophy of materialism and added value conceptualized by Karl Marx.
The antithesis in the discussion began to occur when one of the discussion participants tried to bring natural philosophy in the Pers IP discussion room, and indeed the fun in the discussion is the increase in insight when meeting new people in seeing problems and different points of view from us. That is why discussion spaces must be opened as widely as possible in the academic community.
The presenter closed the discussion by reminding participants to continue to be sensitive to social issues and problems that are happening in society, and to continue to fight both by writing and by going directly to the point of the problem. Because indeed one of the duties of students is as an agent of change that has recently been forgotten by students.
