Tuesday, April 06, 2021. The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) opened a new teaching campus program. This program is essential because it is for the advancement of Indonesian education. One of the goals of the teaching campus program is to solve problems in elementary schools (SD) from remote parts of the country to the outskirts of the city. Furthermore, it is hoped that the presence of students can be a breath of fresh air for both elementary school students and teachers in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, including utilizing the existence of technology in education.
This time, representatives from the Government Science Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang succeeded in sending 5 students to take part in the Teaching Campus Program. Among them is Wilan Melia Ningsih who was placed in SDN No. 226/VII Sendang Sari Kec. Singkut, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi. Yufrica septiana was sent to SDS Al-Madinah, Sukoanyar Village, Kec. Ngadiluwih Kab. Kediri. The next student is Priyanda Kevin Prasetyo who is placed at SDN Tulungrejo 02 Tulungrejo Village, Kec. Ngantang, Malang Regency, East Java. Then Nadya Safitri was sent to teach at SDN Tamban 3, Kec. Cemplong Kab. Sampang Madura. The next student was Nuranisa who was placed at SD Negeri Doridungga, Duridungga Village, Donggo District, Bima Regency, NTB.
Students are expected to express their aspirations to inspire and motivate elementary school students in remote parts of the country during the Teaching Campus program. With the hope that someday they can also become students in college.
