An inspiring journey came from one of the alumni of the Government Science Study Program, Rezkita Bagas Prakasih or who is familiarly called Bagas. Now he has a career as HR at Merdeka Copper Gold's subsidiary in Morowali.
During his lectures, he was known as a student who was active in organizations, especially in the Government Science Student Association. One of the valuable experiences he gained was participating in a student exchange program in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
The international experience he gained not only broadened his horizons, but also became one of the factors that accelerated his graduation. He graduated in January 2021, and officially graduated in March 2021.
It is not easy for new graduates to immediately pursue a career. “After graduating, I took the CPNS test, but failed. But I have a principle that I don't want to be stuck in a career that I can't face, so I focus on finding a job that suits my interests in the HR field,” said Bagas.
Effort does not betray results, in February 2022 he was successfully accepted as HR at a subsidiary of Merdeka Copper Gold. His story is proof that determination, hard work, and focus on interests can lead a person to success.
From the story of his struggle, he gave a message and motivation to students of the government science study program “never regret what you have done, there is no problem that does not have a way out. Expect as high as possible, but if the effort is small, never expect”.
