Salahudin is an alumnus of the Government Science program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), UMM, who graduated in 2009. During his college years, Udin, as he is affectionately called, was active in the Government Science Student Association (HIMAP) as the head of the intellectual development department and in the Al-Faruq Student Activity Unit (LSO) as the general chairman. Despite being active in organizations, he remained committed to his primary responsibilities as a student, attending classes and completing assignments given by lecturers. As a result, he was able to graduate on time.

His major dreams as a student were to write a book, pursue a master's degree, and establish a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on anti-corruption efforts. Through hard work and prayers, these dreams began to come true one by one. In 2009, he founded an NGO named the Anti-Corruption Institution for Regional Autonomy of Bima, Dompu, and Sumbawa (LAPINDA BIDOS). In 2010, he continued his studies in the Sociology Master's Program at the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. In 2012, he published a book titled Corruption, Democracy, and Regional Development.

The NGO he established has been actively implementing various anti-corruption and budget advocacy programs. It currently collaborates with an international NGO, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Meanwhile, he is in the process of completing his master’s thesis. His newly published book will be distributed to his fellow activists in the Bima and Dompu regions.

This alumnus of Government Science holds a grand vision of advancing Dompu to become a better region, admired by other areas. For him, as a graduate of Government Science, there are many ways to contribute to the region, including through intellectual contributions and empowering civil society.
