Malang, September 14, 2022. The Government Science Study Program introduces the study program and academic climate to new students in 2022 (Introduction to New Student Studies). There are 147 batches in 2022 from various regions in Indonesia. This activity is a series of Pesmaba held from 12-15 September 2022, both at the University, Faculty, and Study Program levels.
The activity, which took place in one of the halls, the Sengkaling area, had the theme of preparing superior HR (Human Resources) in the field of government. This activity was opened and explained directly by the Head of IP Study Program Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., MA and was attended by all levels of lecturers. In his presentation, Mr. Kamil, his nickname, explained the mechanisms, opportunities and advantages of the IP study program. The event, which was packaged in a relaxed and interactive way, received high enthusiasm from new students. The proof, on that occasion, there were about 6 students who asked questions in the interactive session. As an appreciation, the study program gave a memento to the 6 questioners, and continued with a photo session of giving away mementos.

On the same occasion, several lecturers delivered several explanations including Dr. Asep Nurjaman, M.Sc., Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Sc., Dr. Salahudin, M.Sc., M.PA, and Ach. Apriyanto Romadhan, M.Si, as the secretary of the study program. The four lecturers in unison said that students must have the value of honesty in addition to intellectual power as an academic community. This is the key for students to achieve success in the future. Achmad, in his last explanation said that students should not waste the opportunity given by their parents to study at UMM. They must be able to develop themselves, hone their potential, produce many works and become critical students, he concluded.
