Malang, January 09, 2020. The challenges of managing higher education institutions in the future will be more complicated. Therefore, to improve the competence of lecturers, the Government Science Study Program held a writing workshop. This activity took place in room 629, and this event was attended by several young lecturers and senior lecturers Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Sc. Cand guides this workshop. Dr. Nurudin, M.Si, one of the Communication Studies lecturers, has published books and opinions in national newspapers. Cand. Dr. Nurudin, M.Si, said that the first step in writing for beginners is reading. The more you read, the more chances you have of finding ideas. Next, he explained that our weakness is the lack of reading culture; most of us listen and see more. In addition, the teaching profession is also required to write as a form of work. Finally, to produce results, there needs to be a community or small group that can give each other motivation and encouragement to continue working (writing).
