Malang, 26 September 2022. Sebagai kampus yang berkomitmen untuk menciptakan SDM Unggul, melalui visi Universitas, prodi IP UMM memiliki kelas unggulan yang disebut dengan COE (Centre of Excellence) yaitu Kelas Pemerintahan Desa. Pelaksanaan COE ini telah bekerjasama dengan Malang, September 26, 2022. As a campus that is committed to creating Excellent Human Resources, through the vision of the University, IP UMM study program has a superior class called the COE (Centre of Excellence), namely the Village Government Class. The implementation of this COE has collaborated with partners, namely four village governments in Kab. magnet. The four villages include Gonggang Village, Bedagung Village, Ngiliran Village, and Janggan Village. These four villages previously had cooperation with IP Study Program in implementing the Tridharman of Higher Education, including the implementation of this COE.
This collaboration with village government partners is one of the important and strategic things that must be done by every study program. Moreover, in accordance with the study program's vision and mission, namely Strenthening Dynamic Governance. The purpose of implementing COE for study program partners is expected to be able to contribute directly in solving village problems and exploring village potential for community welfare.
In the implementation of this COE, 8 5th semester students were participated in evenly in the 4 villages above. One of the projects they offer to the village is the use of Sinterdesa (Village Integrated Information System). Sinterdesa aims to provide information to the community at large regarding village profiles, village assets, population numbers and other important information. According to Mr. Kamil, the Head of UMM IP Study Program who is also the person in charge of COE said that the implementation of this COE was a village government pilot class provided to students who were interested and programmed the COE class. These students are expected to be able to study comprehensively and after attending this class can be absorbed in the relevant field.
