Starting in the academic year 2010/2011, the IP Study Program implemented a Research Internship system for the practice of government science. Previously, the practice of government science was applied through the Study Exsersive (SE) system. This change is due to, first, SE has been applied too often, second, to respond to student demands for research internships. These reasons prompted us to implement the Research Internship. As the first stage, the research internship was carried out in the Malang City government, which was centered at the Malang City Family Planning and Community Empowerment Agency (BKBPM).
