On Wednesday (May 15), the Government Studies Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) received a visit from Government Studies students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (UNISMUH). The purpose of the visit was to establish partnerships and strengthen networks as part of enhancing the existence of the Government Studies field. In addition, the Government Studies program at UNISMUH wanted to learn more about the governance of the Government Studies Program at UMM. According to A Luhur Prianto, M.AP., Head of the Government Studies Program at UNISMUH, the governance of the UMM Government Studies Program is excellent, as evidenced by its "A" accreditation, and is worth studying to improve the Government Studies Program at UNISMUH.

Dr. Tri Sulistyaningsih, M.Si., Head of the Government Studies Program at UMM, expressed her pleasure with the visit from UNISMUH. "We are very happy with the visit from our friends at UNISMUH. This visit should be followed by an agreement to collaborate in the fields of education, research, and community service," she said. Cooperation is one of the factors for achieving good program management. "Managing a program cannot be done solely by relying on internal resources; it requires collaboration with other parties, including between programs at different universities," she added in welcoming the visit from UNISMUH.

The Government Studies students from UNISMUH were also pleased to visit UMM's Government Studies Program. "We are very happy to have visited UMM. We have gained valuable information and expanded our networks, which will motivate us to delve deeper into the field of Government Studies," they said.
