PRACTICE CURSE “GOOD GOVERNANCE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS IN PUBLIC SERVICE

As part of the vision of the UMM Government Science department to support the realization of good governance, Government Science students class of 2008 held a practitioner lecture which was attended by all students who were taking public service management courses. In this practitioner lecture, Mr. Ir. Bambang Nugroho MT as Head of the Malang City Industry and Trade Division (Desprindag) took place in the FISIP UMM courtroom (5/1). On this occasion, the committee raised the theme “Realizing the Principles of Good Governance in Public Services”. This activity, which also presented a lecturer in Government Science, is a means for students to hear firsthand the problems and challenges that occur in the world of government services. This practitioner lecture is held before students conduct field studies. It is hoped that in this practitioner lecture, students will not only get theoretical knowledge that is usually obtained in lecture classes but also real and practical learning in accordance with facts in the field so that students are able to realize the principles of Good Govenance.

In the practitioner lecture material, Mr. Bambang said that the participatory role of all development actors (multistakeholder partnership) is needed to realize a good service process. Where good service indicators are contained in the principles of Good Govenance.
