Malang, May 21, 2024 – The Center of Excellence (COE) program for the Village Government class was recently conducted by one of the accounting lecturers at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Mrs. Aviani Widyastuti, SE., Ak., CA., M.SA. The topic of the session was "APBDes" (Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget).
During the lecture, Mrs. Widyastuti covered various aspects, including the sequence of village financial management, starting from planning, implementation, administration, reporting, to accountability.
She also explained the principles of village finance, which include transparency, accountability, participation, discipline, and orderliness. Additionally, she provided insights into the individuals involved in preparing the Village Budget (APBDes).
Mrs. Widyastuti also encouraged students to practice creating a draft of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget, which will serve as useful preparation for those who will participate in the village government internship program.
The session was met with enthusiasm from the students, as they had the opportunity to learn directly from an expert with extensive experience in financial matters.
Moreover, the students are now more prepared for their upcoming village government research internships, as they have gained valuable knowledge from both practitioners and lecturers.
