The role of the Professor of Government Science at UMM, Prof. M. Mas'ud Said, Ph.D., in academic work has become increasingly contributive at the international level. This is demonstrated by his book titled New Direction for Decentralization in Indonesia, which was published by the international publisher Lambert Academic Publishing in Germany.
M. Mas'ud Said stated, "I hope that my book, published by Lambert, will make a positive contribution to the development of knowledge about regional autonomy policies and bureaucracy, particularly in Indonesia." He added, "Having my work recognized by an international publisher has given me new motivation. I am now more enthusiastic to write and conduct further research."
