Malang 22 September 2022. A proud achievement came from IP alumni batch 94 Ahmad Warits, S.IP. Warits, as he is familiarly called, has been successfully elected as Commissioner of the Bawaslu (Election Oversight Body) of East Java Province for the 2022-2027 period. Warits was elected along with 2 other commissioners, namely Nur Elya Anggraini and Ruzmifarizal Rustam. In his confirmation via Whastaap, Warits said that he had been in the election world for a long time, starting from the Bawaslu at the sub-district to district levels. This prompted him to dare to compete to become the East Java Provincial Bawaslu commissioner.
On another occasion, one of the senior lecturers of the IP Study Program, Drs. Krishno Hadi, MA is also proud to hear this news. Pak Kris said that what Warits did as a Bawaslu commissioner had proved that the provision of learning while in the Government Science Study Program contributed to his career as a Bawaslu commissioner. According to Mr. Kris, when Warits students were known as students who were critical and vocal in looking at social issues. Mr. Kris also said that it was hoped that the service carried out by Warits would run smoothly and in accordance with the mandate given.
