Malang, February 8, 2025 The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Malang has held the graduation ceremony for Period VI of 2024 and Period I of 2025. The activity started at 08.00 – 11.00 WIB which took place in the Hall on the 9th floor of GKB 4. And was attended by five study programs, namely Government Science, Communication Science, International Relations, Sociology, and Social Welfare.
In this graduation ceremony, 23 students were officially declared to have graduated from the UMM Government Science Study Program and were entitled to hold the S.IP title. The Government Science Study Program determined one best student for period VI in 2024 and three best students for period I in 2025.
The best student of the Government Science Study Program for period VI in 2024 is Alvina Afrilia Suryanti with a GPA of 3.49 and the number of credits taken is 150. Meanwhile, the best student of the Government Science Study Program for period I in 2025 is the best I Geby Wirapacsy Aigahayunanda with a GPA of 3.58 and the number of credits taken is 150, the best II Muhammad Cahya Rahmatullah SP with a GPA of 3.52 and the number of credits taken is 145, the best III Yoga Baskoro with a GPA of 3.46 and the number of credits taken is 146.
Dean of FISIP UMM, Prof. Dr. Muslimin Machmud, M.Si. in his speech expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of all students who have struggled until they were declared graduated. "This graduation activity is not just a ceremony, but this is the beginning of a new journey to continue working and providing benefits to the community," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Government Science Study Program, Mr. Muhammad Kamil, S.IP., MA also gave his congratulations. "Hopefully the knowledge gained can be applied in the world of work and in community service," he said.
With this, it is hoped that graduates of the UMM Government Science Study Program can become agents of change who can bring positive impacts to the nation and state.
