The HIMAP of the Government Studies Program held a PKM (Student Creativity Program) socialization event on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at GKB 3 Hall. The theme of this event was "Awakening Creative and Innovative Potential to Achieve Excellence and Conquer PKM 2025."
This socialization aimed to broaden students' knowledge and increase their interest in participating in PKM, particularly for students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts of the Government Studies Program.
The material presentation and discussion were delivered by two speakers: Mr. Moch Aan Sugiharto, M.Sosio, a lecturer from the Sociology Program at UMM, and the second speaker, M. Ihwan Salsabila, a 2022 student who successfully secured PKM funding in 2024.
"PKM is a national competition participated in by students from various universities. There is much to gain from joining PKM, such as experience, national networks, and potential funding," said Mr. Moch Aan Sugiharto, M.Sosio.
M. Ihwan Salsabila added, "The importance of teamwork, commitment to PKM, and support from supervising lecturers are crucial strategies for success in securing funding."
The event ran smoothly and received positive feedback from the participants. It is hoped that this socialization will provide additional insights and strategies for success in the PKM program.
